End of Summer Style

I have a difficult time letting go of Summer once September comes. I live in an area where summer officially ends closer to October so I like to make my September style more of an end of summer look rather than jumping straight into fall. That's just moving too fast for ;) This an opportunity to get all your favorite summer pieces out and rock them one more time before you have to start incorporating them into cooler weather outfits!  Here are few end of summer looks I absolutely love!

Sheer floral sweater with a leather or jean skirt

Bright floral summer dress which you can transition into fall as well!

Warm toned casual sun dress / sun kissed look

Distressed denim shorts - one of my faves with a summer hat

Match that simple dress with a light summer scarf and perfect wedges

Rock the mini floral skirt and sleek top before fall officially arrives

White after labor day? Of course!  White and light blue illustrates that summer look, show it off before this combo gets put away for a season or two ;)

Have a beautiful day!

Snow Boot Fashion

Are you taking a vacation to the snowy mountains? Or perhaps you live in a Colorado climate? I'm talking 25 degrees or less, Burrrr! How do you keep your stylish ways with snow boots?!! I actually found some awesome boots that won't cramp  your style ;) In fact, they'll make that perfect snow bunny look that can't be forgotten.

I'm going to South Lake Tahoe this winter so I had be in the best snow ready outfit and make sure I'm keeping up with inner fashionista...

I would say thick leggings with a long warm sweater blouse, casual button up jacket, knitted red scarf and simple knitted head band or beanie would complete the outfit from the bottom up. But here are some examples of how to throw yours together:

Burrr - January Work Fashion

I sometimes find that dressing stylish for Work in the middle of Winter can be difficult, especially when you work for a conservative office environment . I decided to browse for some ideas on those extra cold days (with the country going through, what seems like, an incredibly freezing winter). Here are some great winter outfits you can throw together this 2014 chilly season!

Casual Day Outfit - Leather and Jeans

So, its the middle of winter and the temp is about 50 degrees outside plus you're sick with a cold and have to run those important errands on your day of your slightly tortuous Mon-Fri work schedule
You know what I'm talking about, we all those days we are just not....feeling our best. When you so badly wished it was acceptable to go out in your pajamas but...ITS NOT! (unless you're so sick that you have no choice, of course) This was me today, blahh.

Simply putting on an outfit I'm in love with can change my mood like "that!" Keep that fashionista attitude in you even on those super causal days. I think the perfect fit for sunny/non-sunny winter day is jeans and tennis day for sure. But let's spice it up. If you don't already have a leather jacket in your closet, I highly recommend you go out and buy one as soon as you get the chance to!

Jeans (boyfriend fit) - write T or white T with simple prints -  basic leather jacket -  tennis/ sneakers = casual but stylish ;) simplicity. Add a scarf for a perfect accessory...and warmth;

Side note: stay beautiful inside and out! :)
