I sometimes find that dressing stylish for Work in the middle of Winter can be difficult, especially when you work for a conservative office environment . I decided to browse for some ideas on those extra cold days (with the country going through, what seems like, an incredibly freezing winter). Here are some great winter outfits you can throw together this 2014 chilly season!

Casual Day Outfit - Leather and Jeans

So, its the middle of winter and the temp is about 50 degrees outside plus you're sick with a cold and have to run those important errands on your day of your slightly tortuous Mon-Fri work schedule 
You know what I'm talking about, we all those days we are just not....feeling our best. When you so badly wished it was acceptable to go out in your pajamas but...ITS NOT! (unless you're so sick that you have no choice, of course) This was me today, blahh.

Simply putting on an outfit I'm in love with can change my mood like "that!" Keep that fashionista attitude in you even on those super causal days. I think the perfect fit for sunny/non-sunny winter day is jeans and tennis day for sure. But let's spice it up. If you don't already have a leather jacket in your closet, I highly recommend you go out and buy one as soon as you get the chance to!

Jeans (boyfriend fit) - write T or white T with simple prints -  basic leather jacket -  tennis/ sneakers = casual but stylish ;) simplicity. Add a scarf for a perfect accessory...and warmth;

Burrr! It's Peacoat Season:)

I am defiantly feeling that cold weather hitting and have now busted out the peacoats. ❄️The typical jacket, cottony coat just do not cut it now a days.  Peacoats make all the difference in the world on a cold day and look fabulous!

I found a couple that will be added to my closet this season and recommend since they can pair with any style.

Fave Fall Fit of the Week!

Its November already! That usually means scarf season begins for me. This my fave quick look of the week. That dark olive green tone fits perfect for the fall season and pair it with your scarf choice which can be almost any color and you have a simple stylistic fall fashion look that you'll feel great and comfy in :)
Most of us have these basic pieces already in our closet and can whip this look together. If not, head to your local TJ Maxx and you'll find it at an excellent price!

The Perfect Lip Balm

I'm constantly going through millions of lip balms, especially during the winter to avoid those nasty chapped lips we all hate!

How to dress for a warm day in a Freezing office!

Did you find the cutest outfit to wear to work this morning and it was going to be a warm day so it was perfect but then you get to the office and it is just freezing in there all day?! Talk about Goosebumps :/

I work in an office where the AC is always blasting, even in the winter! I find it difficult sometimes to wear the dresses or skirts or short sleeve tops I planned on wearing because I know I'm about to work in an igloo for the next 8 hours.

So how do you dress for this temperature and still strut your latest fashion pieces?

1. Turn down the ac ;)

2. Keep a basic solid colored cardigan or wrap sweater at your desk at all times
- I like to keep a black fleece sweater on my chair all the time to throw on or cover my legs which usually works every time!
3. Having a cup of hot tea or coffee to hold onto once in a while really helps too, speaking from experience...

Fact is, an office environment will remain freezing no matter what you're outfit is that day, so make that fashion statement as you'd like and just be prepared because as soon as you walk outside into that warm weather, it will all be worth it!
